Today's full-body workout involved squats for 225x7x1. This is the 'heaviest' I've gone rep wise since high school. In fact, I've never maxed out on any lifts the past 3-4 years of lifting. I bring this up because lifting heavy is important, not just for powerlifters, but for bodybuilders as well. This is something that gets overlooked, especially in the Instagram fitness community. Make sure you have your form down before attempting anything between 1-5 reps on a compound lift though. Your form should always take precedent over how much weight you're doing. Also, please check my latest blog post on how often you should switch your rep ranges up! Link in bio 📊
